To improve the operational focus of the committee and to aggressively reduce the current cycle times for content development, an initial set of expert domains has been identified for 2006 - 2008 including; Sustainability, Innovation, Commercialising IP, Knowledge Capabilities, Personal Knowledge Management, BSI Licensing, Social Computing, Foresight & Futures, Social Network Analysis and Taxonomy.
That's terrific! Is there a seperate article/link describing the scope of concern with innovation (itself a very large topic!) and demarcating the scope of what is meant by "Knowledge Capabilities"?
I look forward to further developments!

Hi Lauchlan
Thx for your post! Within the next week or so, I will be posting details about the Working Groups that we are aiming to kick off in 2007. So watch out for this post. Essentially, the scope of each of the themes or domains will be determined by the working groups themselves. As you correctly point out, innovation (and other themes like sustainability) are very wide in scope and the aim will be to put some boundaries around the various themes.

Hi Kim,
I'm looking forward to working in these expert domains - particularly in social network analysis and foresight & futures. Hope there is space for us from Perth?

Good to have a more open process. I'm interested in the topics of Sustainability and Social Computing. I'd need to know a lot more before I could commit to being involved but I'm interested!
